A notícia foi divulgada pelo jornal ‘O Globo’ e confirmada pelo clube.

A vitória na Justiça ainda é parcial, tendo em vista que cabe recurso. O valor de R$ 100 milhões é referente a um montante acumulado de 1999 a 2004, num período em que o Flamengo teve quatro presidentes.

According to a report by Football Insider, Joe Lewis and the ENIC Group are ‘actively looking’ for a buyer of Tottenham Hotspur behind the scenes and have allegedly been lining up the club’s sale – coming after a deal fell through at the end of 2020. 

As this major takeover claim emerges, Lewis has allegedly sanctioned brokers to ‘find and assess’ any possibly buyers or investors for the club.

Lewis ‘actively looking’ for Spurs buyer

FI say a deal was in place for a 50 per cent sale of the Lilywhites for around £800 million at the end of last year – but the agreement eventually fell through leaving those involved ‘very frustrated’.

Lewis and ENIC hold the majority shares of Tottenham after acquiring them from Alan Sugar in 2001, but is now allegedly open to offers and ‘actively looking’ for a possible buyer of the club.

Chairman Daniel Levy, for the last 20 years of ENIC’s ownership, has publicly managed and owned Tottenham on their behalf according to Football Insider. 

Levy also has a 29.4 per cent stake in the ENIC group, with it’s owner Lewis ranked as the 574th richest person in the world by Forbes. His wealth allegedly reaches around $4.9 billion (£3.6 billion).

Amid the coronavirus pandemic and the financial toll that goes with it, we feel that Spurs supporters should take this report with a pinch of salt.

In these uncertain times, it’s unlikely that Lewis will be able to find an investor willing to buy him out of the Lilywhites for a large enough sum.

This is arguably highlighted best by billionaire Joseph DaGrosa’s stance surrounding a Southampton takeover back in February, with the American telling majority Saints owner Gao Jisheng to lower his £200m asking price or he’d look elsewhere (The Athletic).

If Lewis does want to sell the club, he may well have to be very patient.

أثار زوما غضبًا واسعًا هذا الأسبوع، بعد أن ظهرت لقطات له وهو يسيء لقطته في منزله.

أصدر اللاعب الدولي الفرنسي اعتذارًا علنيًا، وفرض عليه وست هام غرامة أسبوعين، لكن سُمح له باللعب في الفوز 1-0 يوم الثلاثاء على واتفورد.

وصدرت عريضة تطالب بمحاكمة زوما حتى الآن بها أكثر من 270 ألف توقيع، وأكدت شرطة إيسيكس أنها على اتصال بالجمعية الملكية لمنع القسوة على الحيوانات، كجزء من “تحقيقات عاجلة” في هذه المسألة.

وواجه وست هام انتقادات بشأن طريقة تعامله مع زوما، ودعا البعض لإقالة المدافع من النادي.

عندما سُئل عما إذا كان ينبغي أن يعاقب زوما بعقوبة أشد، قال أنطونيو: “لدي سؤال لك، هل تعتقد أن ما فعله أسوأ من العنصرية؟”.

وأضاف : “أنا لا أتغاضى عن أي شيء فعله، لا أتفق مع ما فعله على الإطلاق، لكن هناك أشخاص أدينوا وضُبطوا بسبب العنصرية ولعبوا كرة القدم بعد ذلك”.

وأكمل أنطونيو: “لقد عوقبوا، 8 مباريات أو شيء من هذا القبيل… لكن الناس الآن يطالبون بفصل الناس وفقد مصدر رزقهم”.

وأردف: “يجب أن أطرح هذا السؤال على الجميع هناك، هل ما فعله أسوأ مما فعله الأشخاص الذين أدينوا بالعنصرية؟”.

وتأتي تعليقات أنطونيو بعد أن ادعى حارس مرمى إنجلترا السابق كريس كيركلاند أن إساءة زوما لحيوانه الأليف كانت “أسوأ” من العنصرية.

قوبلت تعليقات كيركلاند على الفور برد فعل عنيف من الجماهير، واضطر حارس مرمى ليفربول وويجان السابق إلى استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي لتوضيح موقفه.

قال كيركلاند: “مرحبًا، مجرد مقطع فيديو سريع – أعرف أن الكثير من الناس قد شعروا بالإهانة، وأستمع إلى أنني أفهم تمامًا ما قلته هذا الصباح عن موقف كورت زوما”.

وأضاف: “من الواضح أنني أشرت إلى العنصرية وحول ما إذا كان اللاعبون قد تم حظرهم من قبل، أعلم أنني قلت إنه ربما يكون أسوأ، لكن ما قصدته هو أن الحيوانات لا يمكنها الدفاع عن نفسها، ليس لديهم صوت”.

Mir’s time in English football has been nothing short of a disaster so far. He’s not scored for Wolves and didn’t beat the goalkeeper during a temporary stay at Nottingham Forest either.

That being said, he is beginning to flourish in Spain and is now among the top scorers in La Liga.

The 23-year-old is enjoying the best spell of his career so far and has 15 goals in all competitions this term, 12 of which have come in the Spanish top-flight. That puts him seventh in the rankings ahead of the £107.6m Antoine Griezmann and the £113m Joao Felix.

Mir is very quickly defying the doubters and his good form, along with the high ceiling he still possesses, should lead to a second chance at Wolves.

He has evolved from a young striker lacking confidence and maturity to a forward with the world at his feet.

He’s even earned comparisons to one of the most bullish forwards around; “He’s a little bit like Diego Costa,” Spanish football write Richard Dunne told The Athletic.

“He’s aggressive, he likes running the channels, he holds off defenders, he’s athletic and strong.”

Dunne continued: “He’s not exactly technically gifted but he has an unorthodox running style that works for him, he can keep the ball, he’s got a powerful strike, he’s quick and he’s good in the air.”

Having become a regular goal scorer in one of the most reputable leagues in world football, Nuno should consider bringing him into the first-team group next season.

He has scored more goals than McBurnie this term and he’d prevent Fosun from shelling out needlessly on £15m.

O meio-campista foi ao Engenhão para a atividade tática, mas foi preservado e é dúvida para o duelo contra o Flamengo, neste fim de semana.

Após a última partida, ele foi encaminhado para o Hospital Copa D’or, onde passou por exames. Nada mais grave, felizmente, foi detectado, apesar do choque com o goleiro Wilson. Ele será avaliado diariamente para saber se terá condições de enfrentar o Rubro-Negro.

No Estádio Nilton Santos, quem apareceu no campo foi Emerson. O zagueiro havia sido poupado da atividade desta segunda, no campo de General Severiano, mas participou sem problemas dos trabalhos físico e técnico, que foram abertos à imprensa. O técnico Jair Ventura fechou o trabalho seguinte.

Manchester United goalkeeper Sergio Romero was a reported target for Everton in the summer transfer window.

The Blues pursued a loan move for the Argentine on deadline day but United held out for a loan fee of £8m and the deal was scuppered (via The Athletic).

Everton subsequently turned their attentions to Roma’s Robin Olsen, who arrived as competition for Jordan Pickford.

However, this proposed transfer may not be dead in the water. According to the Daily Mail, Romero remains hopeful of a move to Goodison Park come the end of the season.

Significantly, the 34-year-old will be out of contract by then, meaning that United can no longer stand in his way.

The Daily Mail also claimed that there is interest from Romero’s homeland, with Boca Juniors and River Plate potentially readying competing offers.

Fan feed The Toffee Blues relayed the news, and there was mixed reaction from Everton supporters. Some no longer saw the sense in the move, while others were still keen on it.

Mateusz Klich endured a difficult afternoon as Leeds United went down 2-0 at Brighton on Saturday afternoon.

Klich started his first game since the 2-0 defeat away to West Ham United in early March.
