يجتمع مجلس إدارة اتحاد الكرة برئاسة جمال علام، يوم الثلاثاء المُقبل الموافق 12 أبريل، لمناقشة اختيار بديل كارلوس كيروش بعد رحيله عن تدريب منتخب مصر.

وقرر اتحاد الكرة استغلال بند إنهاء عقد كيروش من تلقاء نفسه، في حال عدم التأهل إلى كأس العالم، واتفقوا معه على عدم التجديد والرحيل عن تدريب الفراعنة بالتراضي.

وعلم “بطولات”، أن الاتجاه الأقرب داخل اتحاد الكرة هو الاستعانة بمدير فني مصري لخلافة البرتغالي كيروش.

Justin Ontong03-May-2001This is my first tour with the senior SA Cricket team and its great to be with the guys practicing playing and mingling at the highest level.However, this is not my first trip to the Caribbean as I was here last year in September with the "A" side.I joined the guys in Jamaica during the last test match and played my first warm-up game against the Jamaican XI at Sabina Park. The game went quite well and fortunately I was picked for the first one-day match against the West Indies.So, my debut one-day international turned out to be a humdinger of a match going all the way to the wire where the Windies won it off the last ball.I think it took some guts and BMT for Ridley Jacobs to have hit the winning runs the way he did and hopefully in one of the games to come it will be me or one of the our guys in a similar situation winning it for our team.I was quite nervous at the start of the match but after facing my first ball it felt like a whole load of pressure was been taken off my shoulders.I felt that my bowling didn’t really go that well and I could have done better. Perhaps I bowled a few too many short balls and also lacked a bit of experience when bowling to Lara and Hooper, who between them have played around 350 one-day matches.They put on about 70 runs in their partnership and they were going along quite easily at that stage until AD got Lara out caught magnificently by the one-and-only Jonty Rhodes.In the field, I felt that I wasn’t too bad and I’m glad that I contributed with the run-out of Ricardo Powell.One thing however that I did notice was the behaviour of the crowds whom I found extremely abusive. But I guess this is cricket and it happens all over the world.This is now my first visit to Antigua and its one of the better islands that I have come across in the Caribbean. It’s quite similar to Barbados with lots of sights to see fun activities here in the hotel and long white beaches with warm water.Andre Nel and I went for a spin on a canoe and also swam a bit in the sea. اتخذ نادي مانشستر سيتي قرارًا صادمًا بشأن صفقة، إيرلينج هالاند، مهاجم الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بنادي بوروسيا دورتموند قبل نهاية شهر أبريل الجاري.

وارتبط اسم هالاند بإمكانية الانتقال إلى أكثر من نادٍ على رأسها مانشستر سيتي، ريال مدريد، برشلونة، باريس سان جيرمان وبايرن ميونخ مع وجود شرط جزائي في عقده قيمته 70 مليون يورو.

وأكدت العديد من التقارير في الساعات الماضية أن هالاند قريب من الانتقال إلى مانشستر سيتي، وأن النادي الإنجليزي يعتزم دفع قيمة الشرط الجزائي قبل نهاية أبريل وهو موعد انتهاء هذا الشرط.

ولكن بحسب صحيفة “بيلد” الألمانية، توقفت المفاوضات بين مانشستر سيتي وهالاند بسبب مبالغ العمولات التي تصل إلى 70 مليون يورو أيضًا.

يطلب والد هالاند 30 مليونًا والوكيل 40 مليونًا في العمولة، هذا الرقم مرتفع للغاية، لكنهما يرونه ممكنًا لأنهما من وضعا الشرط الجزائي في عقد اللاعب والذي يتيح للأندية التعاقد مع نجم كبير ولكن بسعر أقل بكثير من تقييمه في الوقت الحالي.

الجدير بالذكر أن التقارير الصحفية في الفترة الماضية كانت تؤكد أن هالاند يريد الانتقال إلى الدوري الإسباني ولكن أزمة برشلونة المالية ورغبة ريال مدريد في ضم كيليان مبابي أولًا قد تمنع النرويجي من حلمه.

New Celtic CEO Dominic McKay and boss Ange Postecoglou met in person in London on Friday, with the pair continuing to work on preparations for the new season.

The pair were also in attendance at Wembley, watching England against Scotland at the European Championships.

Current Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor played the entirety of the Group D stalemate, and it seems as if the Hoops were also busy on Friday when it comes to getting some new faces through the Parkhead door.

The Latest: Source shares transfer news

Former Celtic man and Football Insider pundit Frank McAvennie was talking to the site about the Hoops’ summer business in a story which was published on Friday.

Within that piece, Football Insider added that the club are working on deals for both Wyke and Ryan after being informed by a Hoops source on Friday.

Wyke is set to be out of contract at the end of month, whereas Brighton are happy to part ways with Ryan this summer.

The Verdict: New additions are needed quickly

Celtic have a month until Postecoglou’s first competitive game as Hoops boss against FC Midtjylland in the Champions League qualifying rounds, so new signings could do with being sealed very soon.

Postecoglou is also set to take training next week after completing his quarantine, so you’d think he’d want his targets through the door as quickly as possible ahead of the new season.

Wyke and Ryan appear to be the two targets Celtic are working on at this moment in time, and hopefully, deals can be reached sooner rather than later, perhaps with a view to getting both players ready to start in Postecoglou’s first competitive XI against FC Midtjylland.

كشفت تقارير صحفية برازيلية، أن نادي برشلونة مهتم بالتعاقد مع الدولي البرازيلي جابرييل جيسوس مهاجم فريق مانشستر سيتي الإنجليزي خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية المقبلة.

اللاعب البرازيلي لديه عقد ينتهي مع مانشستر سيتي في يونيو 2023، ولا يشارك بصفة أساسية مع المدرب بيب جوارديولا، رغم عدم وجود مهاجم غيره في الفريق.

صحيف “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية، نقلت ما ورد عن مجلة “Lance” البرازيلية، أن جيسوس هو بديل هالاند في برشلونة.

He had New Zealand captain Stephen Fleming as his runner, although there were times when Vincent forgot about that and was halfway down the wicket before remembering he didn’t have to run.He also played some hefty attacking strokes which suggested his batting was not suffering too much from the complaint.Brooke Walker, who was recalled to the New Zealand team for the tour to Sharjah and Pakistan, took Vincent’s place in the field and produced some outstanding diving saves in the manner for which Vincent has become so successful.It is likely that Walker will field during England’s second innings tomorrow.

Reports in recent weeks had suggested that the Whites were eyeing up a move for Stade Brest’s Romain Perraud, before Football Insider revealed that the Yorkshire club were unwilling to meet the asking price set by the French side.

The same outlet then claimed that Marcelo Bielsa had turned his attentions towards Huesca’s Galan, with a Leeds source telling them that “the club have approached Galan’s representatives to discuss his situation this summer.”

And now, Mundo Deportivo (via Sport Witness) claim that it’s Bielsa’s side who are favourites to land the player, while AS (via Sport Witness) said that the left-back’s future is closer to Leeds than Sevilla’s.

More dribbles than Raphinha

While he may be a full-back, Galan actually outshone Leeds star Raphinha when it came to taking players on last season – the 26-year-old was second only to Barcelona’s Lionel Messi in completed dribbles in La Liga, with the Argentine 113 in total and Galan just behind him with 93.

He managed 3.3 dribbles per game in the Spanish top-flight, with Raphinha way behind on 1.9 – it’s a stat that speaks volumes of the kind of attacking intent and directness that Galan shows when bursting forward from defence.

He was ranked in the 2021 team of the year in the top-flight by Whoscored, while the full-back himself said (as quoted by El Mundo Deportivo): “Seeing you on a table next to Messi always surprises you, but I don’t think about dribbling, but only about helping the team. My game is based on that, on overcoming lines based on dribbling, and that is how I can contribute.”

And, as per La Liga Lowdown: “One of those invaluable full-backs who can cover an entire flank alone, he essentially provides a numerical advantage for his team.

“According to fbref.com, Galán ranks top in tackles won, second for crosses into the penalty area and second for players dribbled past. As football has realised in recent years, it’s hard to negate a full-back arriving at pace. So far Galán himself has proved just that; unstoppable.”

Given that Leeds spent the majority of last season with Gjanni Alioski playing as a converted left-back, the news that they are at the front of the queue to sign one of the best offensive full-backs in Europe last season should surely see fans buzzing.
