A torcida do Goiás respirou mais aliviada aos 32 minutos, quando Tiago Luís marcou o segundo. Após receber cruzamento de Viçosa, o meia esticou as pernas e conseguiu desviar a bola pro fundo do gol. A situação piorou para a Aparecidense quando Busatto, na sequência do gol, foi expulso por reclamação.
A Aparecidense chegou a assustar, diminuindo o placar já aos 41 minutos, com Alex Henrique convertendo cobrança de pênalti. No entanto, Júnior Viçosa coroou sua grande atuação fazendo o gol do título, aos 49 minutos, pegando reboteapós chute de Caíque Sá.

The India openers Poonam Raut and Neha Tanwar started off slowly and India managed to reach only 38 runs in the 15th over before Tanwar was run out. That brought Mithali Raj to the crease and the tempo of the game changed. Raj looked in fine form as she carted the West Indies bowlers all over the park. She and Raut added 108 for the second wicket before Raut was dismissed for 63. Raj, however, continued in the same vein as she reached her century off 100 balls, the last 50 runs coming off just 34 balls. She was unbeaten on 106 as India reached 216 for 4 in their 50 overs.West Indies’ chase started off strongly as openers Stafanie Taylor and Julian Nero added 127 within 33 overs before they were run out in quick succession. That derailed the chase as the remaining batsmen failed to string together substantial partnerships. Shemaine Campbelle hit some big blows and West Indies were still in with a chance when they needed 13 runs off the last over. However, offspinner Diana David held her nerve to dismiss Campbelle and No. 10 Anisa Mohammed in the final over as West Indies were bowled out for 206.

The World Cricket League Division Two, a 50-over competition, gets underway on Friday in the UAE with six teams, including the hosts, taking part. The top four teams will receive increased funding from the ICC’s High Performance Programme while two teams – chosen by the ICC’s Development Committee – out of the top four will play in the Intercontinental Cup later in the year.”We are very well prepared for this event,” UAE captain Khurram Khan said. “We’ve been playing matches constantly over the last four weeks against two teams, so we feel ready to go. It was heartbreaking to lose on home ground to Namibia in the I-Shield, so we’re looking forward to playing to even out the record.”There are a lot of new players in the UAE team: Shaiman Anwaar and a new wicketkeeper, Swapnil Patil, who are all playing incredibly well. Hong Kong have a very good new side, and we’ve been following the team. Bermuda as well – they practice a lot – they’ve played more than we have on our home ground at the ICC Global Cricket Academy, so yes it is going to be a very good competition and so we’ll just take it one game at a time.”PNG were promoted from Division 3 last year, but their captain Rarva Dikana wants to move further up the divisions. “The boys are really good; since we’ve moved up from Division 3 we’ve increased our preparation. In addition we’ve also been to Australia, so I think we are in good shape for this tournament,” he said. “It would mean a lot to our players, our country and to the development of the game should we win or finish in the top four of this event. Funding will help us, at a junior level and at senior level, to continue our growth. So it will mean so much to us if we do well.”For Bermuda, this the second trip to the UAE, something their captain David Hemp said has helped them acclimatise to the conditions. “As a squad we’ve been in the UAE since March 27, and have been using this extra time to get used to the conditions. We also came out in January for a 10-day tour to experience conditions, and get a feel for the tournament,” Hemp said. “All sides are going to be competitive; the two from Division 3 will be confident following their achievements and those already in Division 2 will be confident as well. Every game’s a challenge, we’re just going to concentrate on what we’re doing and play the best cricket we can.”Hong Kong were the winners of the Division 3 tournament last year. “We know the value of winning this tournament and this tournament is vital for the future of Hong Kong’s cricket,” their captain Najeeb Amar said. “The people of Hong Kong and the government are all very expectant and if we won the revelation would be remarkable. And of course if we win it means more funding for Hong Kong cricket.”Two African nations, Uganda and Namibia, complete the mix. “It’s very important for us to do well because we’ve lost a lot of good guys recently,” Uganda captain Mirza Baig said. “So it’s even more important for us to carry on the game, do something for them, leave something behind so others can take the game forward. We are looking for that extra funding, and expecting more to develop the game. We’re not worried; we shall give our best and apply ourselves, and funding ultimately will come.”Baig added that Namibia were his team’s biggest threat. “Namibia, for sure. They are a very good side, very experienced and have lots of good players. They are playing better than good and are probably the best side.”Namibia’s captain Craig Williams said his side was well prepared. “We came early, and played two warm-up games against Hong Kong and Bermuda, while back home we played in the South African Amateur League – with very strong competition – so we feel well prepared. I think all the teams are very well-balanced, and I can’t really single out anyone. However, in the UAE team, Khurram Khan and Saquib Ali are very good.”The facilities here in the UAE have been fantastic and we just hope we can use them to the best of our abilities and push our way back up into contention to be in Division 1; it’s really important for us to be there.”The week-long tournament ends on April 15.Squads:

ScorecardPeter Trego and Craig Kieswetter shone with the bat as Somerset won their third match in the Clydesdale Bank 40 League when they beat Glamorgan in a rain-affected game at Taunton.The hosts amassed 222 for 2 from 27 overs before rain stopped play – and when the game restarted at 6.15pm the visitors were chasing a revised total of 196 to win off 19 overs. They came close but fell short on 185 for 6, giving Somerset victory by 10 runs under the Duckworth/Lewis method.After opting to bat first Somerset lost Marcus Trescothick in the third over, caught for 6 by wicketkeeper Mark Wallace off James Harris. New batsman Trego was quickly into his stride and took 28 off the seventh over of the innings, bowled by Will Owen. It contained four fours and two sixes, one straight drive onto the roof of the Old Pavilion and the other over midwicket.Trego took just 20 deliveries to reach his half-century, hitting the milestone with a single off Robert Croft. Kieswetter accumulated his runs more steadily and brought up the Somerset 100 with a single off Dean Cosker in the 12th over.However, in the next he hoisted Croft over midwicket and the wicketkeeper went to his 50 with a dabbed single through gully in the 17th over. Trego moved to 99 with a six high into the Somerset Stand off Graham Wagg and next ball but one he took a single through mid-on to bring up his 100, which came off 58 balls and included eight fours and six sixes.However, Trego’s contribution was over with the next delivery, when he lofted Harris to Gareth Rees at square leg – ending a second wicket partnership which added 174 in exactly 20 overs. Kieswetter then started to open his shoulders, flaying Wagg to the cover boundary before bringing up the 200 with a single off the next ball of the 24th over.Rain had threatened from the start and eventually started to fall heavily, forcing the players off at the end of the 27th over with Somerset on 222 for 2, Kieswetter on 95 not out and Buttler unbeaten on 10. It proved to be the end of the hosts’ innings.Rees and Alviro Petersen got the Glamorgan reply off to a flying start and put on 48 for the opening wicket. The stand was broken in the fifth over when Rees hit the ball to cover and the pair went for a quick single – but Petersen was run out for 15 thanks to a sharp piece of fielding by Arul Suppiah.Jim Allenby brought up the 50 with a four to third man off Ajantha Mendis’ first ball and next over hit the first six of the reply when he lofted Trego high over midwicket. Opening bowler Adam Dibble changed ends and immediately reaped success when Rees, on 37, edged his first delivery to Kieswetter.Allenby brought the 100 up with a six over long-on off Mendis, leaving Glamorgan needing 94 runs for victory off eight overs. Lewis Gregory returned at the River End and with his first ball accounted for Allenby, caught by substitute fielder Alex Barrow at long off for 41 off 22 balls.Four balls later the 18-year-old had O’Shea leg before wicket for 25 and Glamorgan found themselves 122 for four. The game was evenly poised going into the last five overs with Glamorgan still needing 64 for victory, with six wickets remaining.New batsman Wagg quickly moved onto 20, including three consecutive boundaries off Trego, before Steve Kirby comprehensively bowled him. Mark Wallace cut Kirby to the square boundary to bring up the 150 in the 16th over, leaving the visitors still requiring 44 off three overs.Twenty came off the 17th over, bowled by Trego – including a six over midwicket – meaning Glamorgan needed two runs a ball. As the pressure mounted Wallace was caught by Nick Compton at deep square-leg off Kirby for 10 from the first ball of the 18th over. Going into the final over, bowled by Gregory, Glamorgan needed 17 for victory – and the task proved beyond them, despite Ben Wright’s enterprising 28 off 18 calls.
