Sa'adi Thawfeeq29-Apr-2012Pakistan are set to tour Sri Lanka for a full series comprising three Tests, five ODIs and two Twenty20 internationals between May 29 and July 13, Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has confirmed.Pakistan are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka on May 29 and will play the first of two Twenty20s in Hambantota on June 1. The one-day series begins in Pallekele on June 7. The first two ODIs will be played in Pallekele and the remaining three at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.The three-Test series commences in Galle on June 22 and the second Test will take place at the SSC in Colombo from June 30. The teams will return to Pallekele for the final Test starting on July 8.Pakistan and Sri Lanka last played a Test series in October 2011 in the UAE, where Pakistan won the three-match series 1-0. They last toured Sri Lanka in 2009, when they lost the three-Test series 2-0.

Restam apenas 11 rodadas para o encerramento da Série B 2018 e, nesta altura do campeonato, há muitos clubes preocupados com os rumos do planejamento elaborado no início do ano. O objetivo cravado no começo da temporada é o mesmo: garantir vaga na primeira divisão. Entretanto, apesar da disputa acirrada, apenas os quatro melhores subirão.

Nesta briga, quem está na frente é o Fortaleza. Apesar de ter sido derrotada três vezes e empatado uma nos últimos quatro jogos disputados, a equipe da capital cearense, comandada por Rogério Ceni, é líder da competição, com 47 pontos, e detém o maior saldo de vitórias da Série B, ao lado do Goiás (terceiro colocado), totalizando 14 triunfos.

De acordo com o site Probabilidades no Futebol, criado por um grupo do Departamento de Matemática da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, que realiza o trabalho desde 2005*, o Fortaleza chega para a 28ª rodada com 79,1% de chances de se classificar para a primeira divisão. Porém, quando o assunto é título, a situação fica mais complicada. Devido a proximidade na pontuação dos quatro primeiros colocados, o Tricolor perdeu a vantagem adquirida com a arrancada no início da Série B e tem 29,2% de chances de conquistar a taça.

Na cola do Fortaleza está o CSA, campeão da Série C em 2017 e vice-líder da segunda divisão, com 46 pontos. Dono do segundo maior saldo de vitórias da disputa, com 13 triunfos anotados, o time alagoano vive um período de oscilação, mas mostra estar em busca do equilíbrio. Nas últimas seis partidas, foram três vitórias e três derrotas. Com isso, a equipe inicia os treinos para a próxima rodada com 71,6% de chance de conseguir o acesso. Na briga pelo título, o CSA também está bem perto do Leão do Pici e tem 26,1% de probabilidade de por as mãos na taça.

Dentre os quatro clubes na zona de classificação, o Goiás é o que apresentou o maior crescimento nas últimas rodadas. Dono de 45 pontos e do segundo maior saldo de vitórias, totalizando 14 triunfos, a equipe venceu três dos últimos quatro jogos disputados e chegou ao terceiro lugar da tabela, após a 27ª rodada, com 75,3% de chance de voltar à primeira divisão. O número é maior que o do CSA justamente pela evolução obtida pela equipe no returno e chance de título chega a 26,1%.

Se fosse decretado o encerramento das disputas da Série B nesta terça-feira, o Atlético-GO seria o último time a se classificar. Mas os comandados de Claudio Tencati ainda terão que travar uma intensa batalha nas próximas onze rodadas para assegurar a vaga, já que detém os mesmos 43 pontos que o Vila Nova (quinto colocado). Com o menor saldo de vitórias entre os quatro primeiros colocados, totalizando 11 triunfos, sendo dois obtidos nas últimas três rodadas, o Dragão tem 46,3% de chances de chegar à Série A em 2019. Referente ao título, a distância para o terceiro colocado é ainda maior e a equipe tem apenas 8.4% de probabilidade de levar a taça para Goiânia.

A disputa fica mais acirrada a partir do quinto lugar, com Vila Nova e Avaí sendo os times com maiores chances de chegarem ao G4 e obter a classificação. Quinto e sexto colocados, respectivamente, as equipes acumulam 43 e 42 pontos. Entretanto, a diferença nas chances de subir – Vila Nova tem 39,6%, enquanto o Avaí tem 34,2% – pode ser explicada pelas atuações mais recentes dos times. Nas últimas três rodadas, o Leão da Ilha venceu apenas uma partida e perdeu três. Por outro lado, o Vila Nova venceu duas e empatou uma.

Correndo por fora, o Guarani, sétimo colocado, com 41 pontos, tem 24,2% de chances de chegar à primeira divisão. Já o Figueirense, que está em oitavo lugar na tabela, com 39 pontos, alcança menos da metade da probabilidade do Bugre e chega para a 28ª rodada com apenas 11,7% de chances de se classificar.

It is the biggest sponsorship deal in Bangladesh cricket.Sahara’s winning bid ended Grameenphone’s eight-year association between 2003 and 2011 as Bangladesh’s sponsors. They bid approximately $9.4 million, substantially more than the $ 3.4 million from Grameenphone and $4 million from Robi, another telecom company. Sahara won branding rights for the national team and the national cricket academy, and title sponsorship and in-stadia sponsorship for 2012-13, among other rights.Apart from the national team sponsorship, Sahara was the only company to bid for the sponsorship rights of the academy at a price of $130,000 per year.Axiom was awarded title sponsorship and in-stadia sponsorship for 2014 and 2015, and beverage and ticketing rights from 2012 to 2015.

وأضاف: “هالاند لعب العديد من المباريات ضد بايرن ميونخ، وسجل أهدافًا قليلة في مرمانا، لذلك لا داعي للخوف منه، والتعامل معه مثل أي لاعب آخر في مانشستر سيتي”.

وبالنظر إلى أرقامه في دورتموند، واجه المهاجم النرويجي بايرن ميونيخ سبع مرات وتمكن من تسجيل خمسة أهداف في تلك المباريات.

بينما منذ انضامه إلى مانشستر سيتي، تمكن هالاند من تسجيل 39 هدفًا في 36 بمختلف المسابقات هذا الموسم.

For a year and a half after Muttiah Muralitharan’s retirement, every match Sri Lanka played was accompanied by questions about their ability to be a top Test nation in the absence of the game’s greatest wicket-taker. Those questions will be less frequent after Sri Lanka completed their third Test victory in five matches, and their largest win over Pakistan on the fourth day in Galle. The result also snapped Pakistan’s winning streak, which included a 3-0 blanking of world No. 1 England, at five Tests.It wasn’t one-way traffic on Monday, as it had been on the three previous days as Asad Shafiq and Younis Khan defied Sri Lanka for nearly two sessions. Younis gave another demonstration of his fourth-innings mastery, while Shafiq once again showed his appetite for a scrap, as he had in his two previous Tests, against England. Their resistance stretched the game to the final minutes of the fourth day, but Sri Lanka were never in any serious danger, remaining firmly in control all through.Pakistan’s only casualty in the morning was the nightwatchman Saeed Ajmal, run-out in the second over of the day after a direct hit by Suraj Randiv from cover. An early finish to the game looked on the cards when Younis started to walk off after seemingly holing out to mid-off, but there was some doubt over whether Tillakaratne Dilshan had got his fingers under the ball as he took a low catch. It was hard to tell from the replays, and Younis was given the benefit of the doubt.The only other clear-cut chance in the session for Pakistan was when Kumar Sangakkara put down a tough catch at midwicket off Shafiq ten minutes before lunch. There were a few mild lbw appeals, and Shafiq’s french-cut for four early in his innings, but for the most part, Younis and Shafiq were more comfortable than any other Pakistan pair has been this match.They didn’t go into a defensive shell, looking to score even though the target was well out of sight. Younis used the sweep, mostly the conventional version but on one occasion the reverse as well. Shafiq capitalised on the deliveries bowled on his pads, and also pulled out some hard-hit lofted shots as Sri Lanka’s bowlers were made to wait for a breakthrough longer than they have had all match.The pattern continued after lunch as well, as the pair negated the generally slow spin easily. Both batsmen confidently used their feet against spin, and were quick to put away the loose deliveries. Sri Lanka’s fast bowlers weren’t at their best, not testing the batsmen enough and being inconsistent with their lines, while the spinners patiently plugged away. The slow bowlers managed to find a few edges which didn’t carry to slip on several occasions.As the session progressed, it seemed Sri Lanka’s best hope of a wicket would be once the new ball was taken, but Herath got one to spin off the pitch with pace, and Shafiq nicked it through to slip, via the wicketkeeper’s gloves, to fall for 80.Younis went on to become the first Pakistan batsman to complete 1000 runs in the fourth innings, but he couldn’t become the first man to score five centuries in the fourth innings of a Test. Sri Lanka hadn’t needed to wait for the second new ball to break the Younis-Shafiq stand but when they did take it, they got the big wicket of Younis in the very first over. Nuwan Kulasekara, who has been a huge threat with the new ball, got one delivery to hold its line, and not dip in as his deliveries usually do, causing a faint Younis nick to the keeper.With those two strikes, Sri Lanka were in sniffing distance of a win. Debutant Mohammad Ayub, the last of the specialist batsmen, hung around for an hour and a half before becoming fast bowler’s Nuwan Pradeep first Test victim.In a disappointing match for Pakistan, one of the bright spots for them was the wicketkeeper Adnan Akmal. Not only was he competent behind the stumps, he showed promise with the bat as well, besides conveying a sense of enjoying the game. He battled for an unbeaten 40, shielding the tail from the strike as much as he could, but couldn’t take the game into a fifth day as Sri Lanka’s spinners completed the job a few minutes before stumps.

Cássio, Ralf, Danilo e Sheik são titulares do Corinthians desde 2012, ano de chegada do goleiro. Antes, em 2011, os outros três já haviam vencido o Campeonato Brasileiro, título que abriu caminho para a série vitoriosa que os consagrou. De lá para cá, não pararam de conquistar títulos e quis o destino que eles agora brigassem juntos para por essa estrela em um currículo mais do que vencedor.

Não à toa, os quatro se encheram de expectativa logo que a confirmação da vaga na final veio com a vitória sobre o Flamengo na Arena. Cássio, Ralf, Danilo e Sheik saíram do estádio em êxtase com a chance de mais uma conquista inédita, a única que lhes falta. No caso de Danilo e Sheik, com gostinho ainda mais especial, já que pode ser a taça derradeira da carreira deles. O atacante já anunciou que para no fim do ano. O meia, ao que tudo indica, seguirá o mesmo caminho.

A galeria de títulos do quarteto é praticamente a mesma. Danilo é o maior vencedor por estar no clube desde 2010. Venceu Brasileiro (2011), Libertadores e Mundial (2012), Recopa e Paulista (2013), Brasileiro (2015), Paulista e Brasileiro (2017) e Paulista (2018). Cássio só não tem o Brasileiro de 2011. Já Ralf e Sheik deixaram o clube em 2016 e não participaram das conquistas do ano passado.

Agora, eles exercem papeis diferentes no time. Todos experientes, líderes, mas diferentes. Cássio é titular absoluto e foi escolhido capitão do time pelo técnico Jair Ventura. Ralf segue firme no meio de campo como um ponto de equilíbrio para um sistema sólido. Já Danilo e Sheik são reservas, pouco têm atuado, mas possuem uma marca que pode fazer a diferença: espírito vencedor. Nos títulos conquistados, por muitas vezes a dupla foi decisiva. Sheik fez os dois gols do título da Libertadores contra o Boca Juniors em 2012, por exemplo. E eles estão louco para repetir a dose, já que é a conquista que falta. Se cuida, Cruzeiro!

The revamped Ranji Trophy will start on November 2, with the knockouts scheduled for January 2013. The top three teams from Group A and B, and the top two from Group C, will qualify for the quarter-finals of the Ranji Trophy.The Irani Cup will be followed by the NKP Salve Challenger Trophy, a limited-overs tournament involving Bengal – the winners of the Vijay Hazare Trophy last season – and two other teams, and the inter-zonal Duleep Trophy, in October.Ranji Trophy groups

Group A: Rajasthan, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Railways, Bengal, Punjab, Gujarat

Group B includes the runners-up Tamil Nadu, as well as Haryana, Maharashtra and Karnataka who made it to the knockouts last year. Each of the nine teams in Group C played in the Plate League last year.”The initial plan was to have the top teams in one group but we decided to divide them to have two groups of more or less equal strength,” Ratnakar Shetty, the chief administrative officer of the BCCI, told ESPNcricinfo. “We put those semi-finalists who didn’t play each other last season in one group this time.” Rajasthan and Haryana, who played the first semi-final last season, are in different groups, so are Mumbai and Tamil Nadu.The selection for the other two teams of the NKP Salve Challenger Trophy, Shetty added, will be held roughly a week before the competition.From next year onwards, the Irani Cup will be played after the Ranji Trophy.The season will end with the remaining limited-overs tournaments: the Vijay Hazare Trophy, the Deodhar Trophy and finally, the Twenty20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.The decision to adopt the current format for the domestic season was taken by the BCCI’s working committee earlier this month, together with the approval to allow two bouncers an over in limited-overs matches and permit one bowler to bowl a maximum of 12 overs in a 50-over game. The proposals to tweak the rules and the format were made by the BCCI’s technical committee, headed by Sourav Ganguly, earlier in the year.

فيما خاض بيرسي تاو لاعب الفريق تدريبات استشفائية على هامش المران، بعد عودته إلى القاهرة أمس، حيث قام بالجري حول الملعب وتنفيذ بعض الفقرات، للتخلص من اي إجهاد عضلي وتجهيزه للمشاركة في التدريبات الجماعية.

جدير بالذكر أن الأهلي والهلال يتواجدن في المجموعة الثانية بدور المجموعات، والتي تضم معه صن داونز الجنوب إفريقي والقطن الكاميروني.
